MARTHA DIAMOND AT COLBY COLLEGE MUSEUM OF ART
MARTHA DIAMOND AT COLBY COLLEGE MUSEUM OF ART

INSTITUTIONAL EXHIBITION
On view through October 13 at the Colby College Museum of Art and co-organized by The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum, Martha Diamond: Deep Time is a focused survey of Diamond’s career, featuring paintings, works on paper, and monotypes. The exhibition proposes “deep time” as a new way of understanding Diamond’s contribution to American painting: in conversation with both ancient monuments and the modern skyscraper, and carrying its own distinctive psychology and ecology, Diamond’s art thinks about time and across time. INSTITUTIONAL EXHIBITION
The CAC Málaga presents the first solo exhibition in a museum in Europe and the first in Spain by Mario Ayala. The artist extends the pop tradition to the imagination of the Brown communities of Los Angeles, building a unique visual language capable of reflecting the physical and social transformations of the landscape of the world that surrounds him. TALA MADANI AT NATIONAL MUSEUM OF CONTEMPORARY ART ATHENS

EXHIBITIONS
On view through November 10, Tala Madani's solo exhibition Shitty Disco at the National Museum of Contemporary Art Athens (EMΣT) features paintings and animations. Shitty Disco is part of the museum’s exhibition cycle, What If Women Ruled the World? This four-part series is exclusively dedicated to the work of women artists or artists who identify as female and is based on an often-repeated hypothetical question: What would happen if governance was characterized by female traits? Shitty Disco will include works from Madani’s monumental Cloud Mommy series, among others, and will debut a site-specific installation produced on the occasion of this exhibition.
